Native to Hawaii, this species of acacia is considered a traditional tonewood for ukulele making and impresses with a warm and full sound. A flat nato neck with walnut fingerboard provides pleasant playability and allows in combination with a nut width of 35 mm and a scale length of 432 mm perfect access to all 19 frets.
