The glued maple neck with a Wide Thin profile delivers excellent playability, ideal for both confident chord work and smooth lead playing. For tonal versatility, the PRS SE Custom 24 is equipped with PRS 85/15 "S" humbuckers in both the neck and bridge positions. These pickups are calibrated to provide a balanced sound and moderate output and they can be coil-split using the push/pull function on the volume control, allowing for crisp single-coil tones. This versatility ensures the guitar can handle a wide range of genres and playing styles. On the hardware side, the PRS Patented Tremolo provides smootg pitch control and the PRS-Designed Tuners ensure stable tuning, making the SE Custom 24 an exceptional and reliable instrument for both studio and stage performances.
