Rode DeadCat VMP Wind Shield (VideoMic Pro*)

The Rode DeadCat VMP Wind Shield (VideoMic Pro*) is an Artificial Fur Wind Shield designed to protect the Rode VideoMic Pro* On-Camera Microphone from excessive background noise during field recording. The DeadCat VMP covers the Microphone to reduce wind noise and other unwanted audio, making it an essential addition to an engineer’s toolbox for serious recording. The Rode DeadCat VMP is used exclusively with the Rode VideoMic Pro* On-Camera Microphone.

* The DeadCat VMP Wind Shield is compatible with the pre May 2015 VideoMic Pro rubber-band models only. For VideoMic Pro models with Rycote Lyre on-board please use the DeadCat VMPR Wind Shield.
