The Fame Mini-EFX is a versatile multi-drive distortion that is equipped with a total of nine modes: from soft clean boost to warm Overdrive to brutal high-gain distortion, the pedal is a real asset for genres from Blues to metal. To select the various overdrive and distortion modes, a central knob with a click-in function is provided, allowing the various voicings to be changed in a versatile manner. In detail, the pedal features four overdrive types (ODRIVE-TS, ODRIVE-Blues, ODRIVE-DB, ODRIVE-AMP), four distortion types (DIST-SC1, DIST-BRITISH, DIST-MT1, DIST-MT2) and a clean boost (BOOST). For detailed adjustment, the sound can be fine-tuned via a 3-band EQ with controls for bass, mid and treble, while the gain control determines the amount of distortion. In addition to conventional operation via a 9 V DC power supply, an additional USB interface has been built in, which can be used as an alternative power supply if required - perfect for desktop use in the (home) studio!
